Team Rector: Reverend Lucy Sablan
Lucy is Sheffield born and bred, after moving around to various places (including Newcastle, Bristol and Rome) she always knew she would be called home and was delighted when, for her curacy, she was.
Lucy has ministered locally for the last few years, as Senior Minister of St Leonard’s Community Church in Arbourthorne and Norfolk Park, where she has had the challenge and joy of reopening the church and working alongside fantastic people to form a new local community and team to serve God and the community there. She has also been Co-Area Dean in this Deanery, a role she shares with Revd. Sue Stewart, and this has deepened her love of the area and its churches.
Lucy's particular passions are working with those who are marginalized, gathering community, connecting with nature and thinking creatively about how church buildings best serve their communities spiritually and practically. She has loved getting to know the congregation and community of the Manor Parish and is excited to discover with them what God has in store for the Parish, its worshipping communities and church buildings, and to explore exciting new possibilities with the support of and partnership with the Cathedral.
When Lucy is away from her rôle she can be found walking in the Peak District, pottering in the garden, eating her husband's excellent cooking, at a pub quiz with friends or (when she feels particularly virtuous) running or swimming.
Lucy and her husband Nat are overjoyed to continue calling this slice of Sheffield home as she steps into new adventures on the Manor.
Support and Development Worker: Nicola Smith

She had a background in solicitors’ offices, having worked in various departments including a dual role for seven years of Wills and Probate Paralegal and Diocesan Registry Clerk until the retirement of the then Diocesan Registrar.

She loves being a member of the Manor team.
