1940s event! (now with pictures)
We held a 1940s event on Saturday 26th October with interesting memorabilia and artefacts to look at and beautiful homemade cakes to enjoy. First of all we were informed and entertained by Suzanne Bingham, a local speaker who talked to us about the Sheffield Blitz. After that we learned to do the Lindy Hop with dance teacher, Sheena Brabazon from Every Dance. A great time was had by all and one or two people even dressed up for the occasion.
